Contract & Health Guarantee
We assure that the puppy you are purchasing is purebred. The pedigree furnished is correct. The puppy must be paid for in full before taking possession. If buyer decides not to take possession of puppy, any deposit will be forfeited.
Every effort has been made by the seller to insure that the puppy has been delivered to the buyer in a healthy, sound condition. The puppy has received proper vaccinations and wormings appropriate for its age. A licensed veterinarian must examine the puppy within 4 business days of receipt and seller must be notified by e-mail of results of this examination by midnight of the day of the exam. During the initial exam, should your vet find the puppy in poor health or detect any physical health problems that would require further veterinary care (other than required vaccinations and / or treatment for any type of parasite or bacteria, internal or external), buyer must contact seller within 24 hours. The failure to do this will result in the cancellation of this guarantee.
Buyer agrees to provide the puppy with routine preventative care, follow vet guidelines on wormings, vaccinations, heartworm prevention, and proper housing. The pup is guaranteed to be free of Parvo virus and Distemper for 48 hours from pick up. Buyer must have the ELISA test performed within 48 hours of purchase if claiming that the pup has either of these viruses.The puppy is guaranteed until 24 months of age against fatal and life altering congenital diseases which adversely affects the health of the animal.
If this puppy dies within 24 hours of purchase, the buyer will pay to have a necropsy performed by a licensed veterinarian and if the reason for death is found to be congenital, the seller will replace the puppy. Seller is not responsible for any vet bills. A puppy showing any serious genetic or congenital defect will be replaced as follows: Animal must show defect by 2 years of age; seller must be notified of the problem within 2 business days of the licenced veterinarian's determination. Buyer must have 2 reports from 2 unassociated veterinarians stating the same problem. This must be written on the veterinarian's letterhead. Buyer must provide legible copies of the puppy's medical records showing regular veterinary check-ups, current vaccinations, dewormings, and heartworm prevention.
A puppy with a defect must be returned to the seller in order to qualify for a replacement puppy. If a puppy is euthanized without the seller's permission, this guarantee will be null and void and no replacement puppy will be given. This guarantee does not include uneven bites, undescended testicles, demodex mange, inguinal or umbilical hernias, fleas, ticks, worms, ear mites, coccidian and kennel cough which are common in puppies that are shipped and usually caused by bacteria.There are also certain disorders which may be caused by environmental factors, for example: allergies, demdodectic mange, and other autoimmune disorders that are not covered by this guarantee.
All items covered by this guarantee are by replacement only. there are no cash refunds.A replacement puppy will be agreed upon by the buyer and seller, but may not be from the same litter. This contract is valid for the original owner only and is not transferable. By signing this agreement both parties agree to be bound by all terms set forth and buyer agrees to take proper care of their new puppy. The buyer agrees that if it is found that the puppy has been mistreated, neglected, or abused, or if the buyer decides that they no longer can keep and care for the puppy, the puppy can be returned at once to the breeder free of charge.The buyer also agrees that there will be no refunds or replacements in the above circumstances. This agreement shall be deemed a legal and binding contract and is under the jurisdiction of the state of South Carolina, in the county of Pickens.
